Who we are
MakeWebSmart builds and operates software, including BusinessMan, in Saudi Arabia. This notice covers this website (makewebsmart.com) only.
What we collect
When you send us a form, we store your name, your phone number and anything else you choose to enter: company, city, team size, plan and message. With it we record the page you sent it from, how you reached us (the referring website and campaign tags), your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.
Why
- To reply to your request and follow up about it.
- To keep spam and abuse out (IP address and user agent).
- To learn which pages and campaigns bring enquiries.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Requests are stored on our own servers, and only the MakeWebSmart staff who handle sales can see them. We may send a short notification of each new request to our internal team chat.
How long we keep it
Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it — sooner if you ask.
Your rights
Under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. Message us on WhatsApp and we will handle it.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It remembers campaign tags for the current browser tab only (session storage, cleared when you close the tab). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser downloads them.
BusinessMan data
Data your company stores inside BusinessMan is covered by your agreement with us, not by this notice. We process it only on your company's behalf, in your company's own database.
What the BusinessMan apps collect from your staff's phones
- Device identity — a phone identifier, make and model, so an admin can approve, suspend or remove each phone.
- Location — the phone's GPS position at day start, shop check-in and check-out, and at day end; the route and kilometres between those points are estimated from them, not tracked continuously. Nothing is recorded outside a working day.
- Visit audio — only when the company switches it on. It is off by default; the salesperson must tell the shop owner and confirm before it starts; shops the company marks as opted out are never recorded; recordings are kept for the number of days the company sets (30 by default) and then deleted, and every play or download is logged. If the company also turns on transcription, each recording is sent to Google's speech service to produce a text transcript; otherwise no recording leaves the company's server.
- Odometer photos — a photo of the vehicle's meter when the salesperson enters a reading.
Your company decides which of these it uses and answers your questions about them; we host the data on its behalf and do not use it for anything else.
